Euryale's Gambit (EG) is the story of a succubus who goes back in time to the 19th century in order to save the future from a dark fate.  Along the way she discovers more about herself and her past and her mission expands as a result.  Will she be able to save her loved ones in the future while helping her friends in the past?

Euryale is a succubus.  She's lived for hundreds of years preying on hapless victims and consuming their lust energy.  One day while attempting to seduce a meal, a meteor from unknown origins crashes into the Earth's atmosphere.  This meteor contained an incredible unknown energy that abandoned the meteor and entered into Euryale.  With this energy, came a vision of a disturbing future with an ominous voice saying "go back and save her".  The strange creature in the vision also granted her knowledge of time travel.  Eventually, Euryale realized that the voice was talking about Elena, a beautiful girl and aspiring rocket scientist.  Determined to save Elena, Euryale goes back in time to 1858 to stop the US Civil War and hopefully avoid the vision's dark future that consumes the world.

In 1859, she meets up with Spoons, an anarchist/abolitionist, Echo, a freed slave and more as she tries to stop a war before it begins.
