I adore mature games with extensive content and a compelling plot. The story and amount of content in Fetish Locator by ViNovella are so substantial that the developer chose to divide it into three games, or, as the developer refers to them, "weeks." (Week 1, 2, and 3 correspond to one week in game time, so that makes sense.)

HISTORY OF FETISH LOCATOR

The Fetish Locator's initial release (Named only Fetish Locator) took place in 2019, but ViNovella did not decide to divide the game into a trilogy until much later. We saw the release of Week 2 in 2021, and the final was just completed not long ago in 2023. Since its first release, the game has undergone a number of significant technical and visual advancements. It is easy to see how drastically different the early scenes are from Week 3's most recent iteration.

FETISH LOCATOR - THE STORY

Fetish Locator's first release dates back to the era of university themed games, where every other adult game was happening in school or was tightly connected to that (still) popular thematic. And yet, there was something different with Fetish Locator compared to the other school themed games, as the core of the story was totally about sex and the Fetishes that surround it, and yet it is not just sex. Confused? Read on.

The Fetish Locator app, which you learn about in the opening minutes of the game, serves as the central focus of the narrative, along with the question of who is responsible for it. With the help of this app, users can find others who share their fetishes and earn points by completing tasks related to those fetishes. The aspiration that you will meet a lot of girls and engage in kinky sex with them is thus established, and it doesn't take long to have your first rendezvous and complete your first challenge. The intriguing aspect of the story is that it will take on the characteristics of your personal fetishes, which you can choose to engage in or not. So, depending on that, different paths will be taken. 

This is a slightly different approach from what we typically see in games of a similar nature because in those games, relationships are typically more of a focus than specific kink preferences. Fetish Locator upgrades that to another level, which, in my opinion, is really awesome. Sharing kinks is a great way to strengthen any relationship, so it makes perfect sense that this is relevant when choosing the partners you want to engage with and the path you want to take. There are some epic twists inserted as well that will make you think twice about some of the choices you have made.

Just one observation. The game shifts dramatically from a "porn game" to an "adult game" from week 1 to week 2. It was clear the developer wanted more from the game, story-wise and quality-wise. And he succeeded

Fetish Locator still implements all the aspects of "college life," including all the twists, fun, and drama. The game is full of humor, witty dialogue, and even depth. Something you might not expect at first, especially if you think of Fetish Locator primarily as a porn game. Keep at it, and the story and the writing will surprise you. In a good way.

FETISH LOCATOR -THE GAMEPLAY

Fetish Locator plays like an adult visual novel. There is therefore a limited amount of sandbox play available, which is completely fine, and the majority of the decisions are made through dialogue and on-screen selection. The complex branching of the story, which adapts depending on your choices (especially one involving the fetishes), provides the needed level of freedom and non-linearity. The gameplay is smooth, and the story will continue regardless of your choices, which will ultimately lead you to a set of different endings.

FETISH LOCATOR - THE VISUALS AND SOUND

This is one of the aspects that Fetish Locator definitely shines at. The quality of the renders and the quality of the animations are getting better and better the more you play the game. The difference between some early takes compared to Week 3 is significant. You should keep in mind that the first scenes of Fetish Locator Week 1 were done four years ago.

Renders are crisp, and lighting is great. The models are varied and range from your typical next-door girl to geeks and super hot alt chicks. Animations are done extremely well, and there are a ton of them throughout the game. They get more and more complex through the series.

Fetish Locator has both music and sound effects, and week 3 also has some voice acting added. All adds to the mood and to the overall quality of the game.

FETISH LOCATOR - THE SEX

Remember, it's all about the fetishes and the sex. It is simply amazing the sheer variety of scenes, kinks, kink combinations, and different girls engaging in kinky behavior. Fetish Locator's primary focus is on sex, and it excels at it. There is more content for you, the Kinkier you are.  I will not even try to include all the fetishes that are represented in Fetish Locator; there are just so many of them.

You need not worry, though; if something is not to your liking, you can safely skip that content without affecting the narrative of the game.

BTW Some scenes also feature interactive elements like the choice of positions, which is a great addition to the game.

In conclusion, Fetish Locator offers a vast array of sexual content and caters to a wide range of kinks and preferences. The sheer variety of scenes and combinations ensures that there is something for everyone, regardless of how kinky or vanilla their tastes may be. Whether you choose to explore all the fetishes or only focus on specific ones, the narrative remains unaffected, allowing you to enjoy the game at your own pace and comfort level.
